ONE HELMET CERTIFICATION There are NAERA members located all over the country that recondition/recertify athletic equipment. When you purchase a lacrosse helmet there are a number of factors to consider including durability, cost, and size. If you suspect damage to your helmet, stop use and replace it. Recertification is the process whereby previously certified helmets and other athletic equipment undergo testing to determine that the equipment continues to meet the original certification requirements.
